USF Office of Graduate Studies (OGS) Fellowships
The USF Office of Graduate Studies is committed to excellence in graduate education
and is proud to offer fellowship opportunities for new and continuing students.
Some of these fellowships are only available to students through nominations by their
Major/Department, while others are available by direct submission from students who
meet the eligibility requirements outlined below.

About the Fellowship: Application/Nomination Process: Number of Nominations per Department: Selection Process: Award Specifics: Tuition: Each award comes with a tuition waiver. Eligibility: Student must be a new, incoming doctoral student. A Bachelor's or Master's student from USF who is entering the doctoral program may be considered for this award. The fellowship recipient must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States or its Trust Territories. Recipients must be enrolled full time. Recipients must be making satisfactory progress toward their degree in order to be eligible for funding in years 2-3. |

Details Application/Nomination Process: Direct from the doctoral candidate. A letter of recommendation from your major professor and 500 word description of the dissertation project. The student must be engaged full-time in the completion of the research and writing of the dissertation, including continued communication with the major professor/s. This Fellowship is not to be used for funding after a successful dissertation defense. The description of the dissertation project should present an abstract of your research prospectus (not to exceed 500 words): Purpose, Objective, and Rationale: This section should summarize your study accurately and concisely by explaining the overall purpose of the study and the research problem you intend to investigate. Methods: Clearly and precisely describe your intended methodology and procedures and why you have selected these particular approaches. This should summarize the basic design of your study. Your study should follow the accepted paradigms, discourses, and current approaches in your field. Major Findings: Specify how your work will contribute to your field of study, how it will answer your research questions, and the overall impact of your study in your academic area. Report any current findings already completed and clarify your remaining timeframe. Details Application/Nomination Process: Selection Process: Award Specifics: Eligibility: Note that USF's M.D. and Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) programs are not eligible for consideration for this fellowship. Previous Genshaft Family Doctoral Fellowship winners are not eligible to reapply. The fellowship recipient must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States or its Trust Territories. |

Details About the Fellowship: Application/Nomination Process: Number of Nominations per Department: Approximately 10 Graduate Student Success Fellowships will be awarded. Individual departments should nominate their single best candidate for consideration. Multiple nominees from single departments or programs will not be considered. Selection Process: Award Specifics: Tuition: Each award carries a tuition waiver. Eligibility: Student must be a new, incoming doctoral student. A Bachelor's or Master's student from USF who is entering the doctoral program may be considered for this award. The fellowship recipient must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States or its Trust Territories. Recipients must be enrolled full time. Recipients must be making satisfactory progress toward their degree in order to be eligible for funding in years 2-3. Please note that students applying to or enrolled in USF's M.D and Physical Therapy (DPT) programs are not eligible for consideration for this fellowship. |
Kreplick Graduate FellowshipDeadline: February 15 |
Details Application/Nomination Process: Selection Process: Award Specifics: Eligibility: Public high school graduates. Students pursuing graduate degrees in Education (particularly child development and special education disciplines), Nursing, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Criminology. Upper age limit: 30 years. |

Application/Nomination Process: Selection Process: Award Specifics: Health Insurance: 深夜看片 Student Health Insurance will be provided for individual coverage for the duration of the award. Conference Travel: Up to $1,000 will be provided to support travel to research conferences where the fellow is presenting research. Eligibility: This award is for exceptionally qualified graduate students, domestic or international, to attend the 深夜看片. |

Eligibility: Must be already admitted to candidacy. Demonstrated record of sustained progress toward the degree. The proposed research must be in one of the 深夜看片 signature research areas:

NOTE: Funding is limited and the competition for the awards is substantial. In addition, many of the fellowships require that a (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) be completed and filed with USF.
To be considered for specific awards, it is critical to submit a complete application prior to the stated deadline. Applications received after the deadline will not be reviewed.
Students with existing support will not be considered for most of these fellowships. In addition, in most cases students will only receive a maximum of one award.
