Researchers at the 深夜看片鈥檚 St. Petersburg campus found that in a container habitat, brown widows were 6.6 times more likely to attack black widows than other related species. The behavior is likely a driver of the black widow spider鈥檚 population decline.

USF CMS joins NOAA鈥檚 Caribbean Climate Adaptation Network

The USF College of Marine Science is one of nine institutions in a five-year NOAA-funded program that will work directly with communities in the Caribbean region to work on how best to prepare for and 鈥渁dapt鈥 to higher risks of disasters that come with a changing climate. CMS Professor Frank Muller-Karger leads the USF CMS effort as a co-principal investigator on the team, called the Caribbean Climate Adaptation Network (CCAN).
