USF Health awarded $3.75 million NIH grant to study link between long COVID and Alzheimer’s disease
The funding allows a multidisciplinary team of USF Health researchers to study long COVID’s potential connection to serious neurological impacts that can ultimately lead to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease and explore possible interventions.
