The 深夜看片 today announced four finalists have been selected in the search for the university鈥檚 next provost and executive vice president of academic affairs.
After a thorough national search, the broadly representative search committee interviewed eight candidates, all with extensive and accomplished backgrounds in higher education. The search committee chose the following candidates to advance to campus visits beginning next week:
Pranesh B. Aswath, senior vice provost for academic planning and policy, University of Texas at Arlington
Eric M. Eisenberg, interim provost and dean, College of Arts and Sciences, University of South Florida
Erin McNamara Horvat, senior vice provost for faculty advancement and undergraduate affairs, Drexel University
Giovanni Piedimonte, vice president of research and institutional official, Tulane University
The next steps in the process will include opportunities for engagement and feedback from the university community. Each candidate will visit all three USF campuses and will participate in a town hall at each location. Campus visits and town halls will take place Oct. 12, 13, 17 and 18. An exact schedule with specific times and venues is available here. Town halls will also be available via livestream for those who may not be able to attend in person.
Following each town hall, stakeholders will be able to submit their feedback, which will be shared with USF President Rhea Law for her consideration before she makes the final selection for the next provost.
Reporting to the president, the provost serves as the chief academic officer for USF, providing university-wide leadership for academic affairs.
