Gary Oliver, Ed.D. (Tampa campus)

Gary D. Oliver joined the Office of Graduate Studies staff in 2012 as the Assistant
Director for Graduate Student Services. He received his BA degree from Savannah State
University in 1992, M.Ed. and Ed.S degrees from Georgia Southern University in 2008
and 2012 respectively. Most recently, in 2022 he earned his Ed.D from The University
of South Florida. He has over 15 years of experience in higher education and student
affairs. He most recently served as the Director for Student Life at Savannah State
University.
He is responsible for developing, organizing and delivering programs to enhance and
support Office of Graduate Studies initiatives that foster graduate student success
and career development. Gary oversees orientation, commencements, workshops, Graduate
Student Appreciation Week, and other activities such as community service projects,
and social and cultural events for graduate students.

Aaron Reecher is the Graduate Academic Advisor and Graduate Admissions Specialist at the 深夜看片 Sarasota-Manatee campus. He provides academic advising and application support for all 深夜看片 Sarasota-Manatee campus graduate students and applicants. Aaron has been at the 深夜看片 Sarasota-Manatee campus for 13 years and has worked with hundreds of amazing students in that time. His office is located in the Office of Student Services on the 深夜看片 Sarasota-Manatee campus. Aaron earned his BA from the University of Florida and MA in Education from 深夜看片 Sarasota-Manatee. He looks forward to helping our USF students in any way possible.
Tyler Pohla (Tampa campus)

Tyler joined the Office of Graduate Studies in 2024 as the Graduate Assistant for Graduate Student Services. He earned his Bachelors of Music degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in December 2023. He is a current M.Ed. Student in College Student Affairs graduating in 2026. Tyler provides support for the Office of Graduate Studies and works to facilitate events and helps with other tasks as necessary. While he was at SFASU, he was seen throughout the campus as he was involved in several student organizations and worked as a student employee at the Student Recreation Center. He had a leadership role in many of the organizations he was involved in, ranging from New Member Educator to President. While being involved in those organizations, he was also involved in the Lumberjack Marching Band and Roarin' Buzzsaws Pep Band. During his free time, he likes to play Trumpet and Piano, go out to the local parks, work out at the gym, play sports, play video games with his friends. You can always see him out and about somewhere different every day! While he is the GA for the Office of Graduate Studies, he hopes to accomplish many goals, including increasing the visibility of the department as well as planning and hosting a variety of events for graduate students to enjoy outside of their studies.
