GNSI Names First Class of Distinguished Fellows

Distinguished Fellows Named to GNSI Team

TAMPA, FLORIDA (May 2, 2024) 鈥 The Global and National Security Institute (GNSI) at the 深夜看片 (USF) is excited to announce the newest members of its GNSI Fellows Program, a growing and evolving group of highly successful thought leaders and experts from a mixture of academics, practitioners and industry professionals who share GNSI's vision of becoming an internationally recognized thought leader across the global and national security environment.

Previously, GNSI has focused on growing the Faculty Senior Fellows and Non-Resident Senior Fellows rosters, with a total of 42 distinguished and diverse professors, writers and experts that advance GNSI on its mission of providing actionable solutions to 21st-century security challenges at the local, state, national and international levels.

The newest members of the GNSI Fellows Program, however, open up an entirely new classification: Non-Resident Distinguished Fellows. GNSI Academic Director David Oakley, PhD, who leads the Fellows Program for GNSI, said it is essential that the Fellows roster encompasses as many diverse lines of thinking, insights, and experiences as possible, including expanding GNSI鈥檚 connections to an ever-widening security community.

"Understanding and responding to complex security challenges requires a collaborative approach. USF and GNSI will benefit from the experiences of these five Non-Resident Distinguished Fellows who each bring a unique perspective from their time leading public and private sector organizations.鈥
