USF College of Education hosts Math by the Bay Summit

The Math by the Bay Summit was held on September 19, 2023, in TECO Hall at the College of Education 深夜看片. Dr. Sarah Van Ingen Lauer and Dr. David Allsopp facilitated school district teams from Hillsborough, Sarasota, Pinellas, Hernando, Polk, and Manatee in a deep discussion related to the challenges and solutions of helping all students achieve in mathematics. District leaders showed appreciation for the time spent together sharing thoughts and ideas.

Advanced Placement Summer Institute 2023 Recap

This past July, The 深夜看片 (USF) College of Education鈥檚 Anchin Center hosted its annual Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI). The Anchin Center鈥檚 APSI is the third largest in the world, with participants joining from 32 states and 13 different countries, including Canada, China, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Georgia, Guatemala, Kuwait, Mexico, Myanmar, Panama, South Korea, and Turkey. This summer, they welcomed approximately 650 Advanced Placement (AP) teachers to campus for three consecutive weeks of collaborative professional learning.

Researchers from the Caribbean, across the U.S., as well as faculty from the USF College of Education presented on the topic of Building Solidarity Across Educational Communities: Cultivating Spaces Where Students Thrive.
