Twenty-seven behavioral healthcare (BHC) graduates received their pins Thursday afternoon as they were celebrated by their peers, family members, and Department of Mental Health Law and Policy (MHLP) faculty.
Following opening remarks from Julie Serovich, PhD, dean of the College of Behavioral and Community Sciences, Paul Stiles, JD, PhD, associate professor and associate chair of MHLP, served as the ceremony's speaker.
Stiles, who is retiring, said that it has been an honor to teach USF's behavioral healthcare students and that he looks forward to hearing about students' accomplishments. He encouraged students to continue to be resilient and persistent.
Later, Stiles was also presented the award of Behavioral Healthcare Champion in recognition of his dedication and vital contributions to the behavioral healthcare program.
