Andrés Cintrón is the career counselor for the Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance at the Muma College of Business at the ÉîÒ¹¿´Æ¬ St. Petersburg campus. In this role, Cintrón supports students with their career needs by utilizing his counseling skills to provide students a tailored coaching meeting that focuses on the students’ needs and career goals.  Cintrón also advises the Bulls Business Community, coordinates events that help to foster students' personal, academic, and professional growth, helps students with internship opportunities and establishes employer relationships.

Prior to joining ÉîÒ¹¿´Æ¬ St. Petersburg, Cintrón worked within the First-Year Studies program at the University of Tampa as the coordinator of First-Year Community Engagement in which he taught five FYE courses, developed curriculum for the First-Year courses, and coordinated events for the First-Year community. His distinguished career in higher education includes working as a community director in residence life, as an academic success coach supporting students on academic probation, creating programs supporting DEI efforts, and as an adjunct faculty instructor in First-Year seminar, Spanish, and humanities courses. Cintrón also brings a global outlook to all constituencies he works with through his experience while studying abroad in Spain and Japan as well as working within the private sector in the insurance industry and business management.

Cintrón earned a Master of Science in Counseling with a specialization in Student Development and a Bachelor of Science in Spanish from Central Connecticut State University.
